Cavalier Hunters Hut | Rakiura National Park, Stewart Island
The Cavalier Hunters Hut is a much modified Rakiura hunters’ hut.
Close to Mason Bay beach, down the south end, so there’s plenty of firewood around.
Has all the amenities of the usual DOC hut, with some useful additions abandoned by previous hunting parties, pots and pans, etc.

Not for use by casual trampers.
