Stern Valley Hut | Kahurangi National Park

Location, location, location.

That is, why would you locate a hut in an obvious spot to be swept away in a large flood?

And more steps. Night. Wet.

Someone is going to fall.

Nuts.

Insect screens: the sandflies just walk through.

Timber bench space for your stoves.

Just don’t understand how this was built.
